ID card software - Incardex - is designed for ID card management and printing. After you create the internal database or set up the connection with the external database it is possible to place the data fields (objects) on the card layout. For this select objects from the Objects Toolbar (Line, Rectangle, Text, Image, Text from database, Image from database) and draw them on the card layout. To set object properties call for its context menu. Click the right mouse button and select Properties…

Line, Rectangle, Text and Image are permanent (fixed) objects, they will be printed on all ID cards.   Text from database and Image from database are variable objects, their content is different and depends on the active database record. The font type, size, and color can be selected by the user. To simplify the data fields alignment the grid overlay can be used.

In order to save the ready ID card layout press Save button on the Toolbar or select Save on the File menu. Assign a name to the file. The ID card layouts are saved in .icp format. To preview the ID card prior to print it out press Preview button on the Toolbar or select Preview on the File menu.
